For our 51st meetup, Sean came in with a PC-8001mkIISR and its hallmark game - Pac-Land. Yes, this game got a PC-8001 series release alongside the X68000 release, and the PC-8001mkIISR has a struggle with it, but it's the game, for sure. He also brought in an MSX SD mapper cartridge to play with, bumming an MSX from Tom and Michelle in turn.

Curt took along his recently purchased word processor. The half-height screen with high resolution display made for a unique appearance and amazing legibility. After going through the various disks included with the system, we discovered one turned out to be an emoji disk. You could type in a category such as "food" and it would display a bunch of high-res related icons. He spent some time disassembling it, extracting the ROMs, and dumping them for preservation. He brought along

Ondrej showed off his Ultimate 64, a modern-day spin on the Commodore 64. It can play all the classics and modern-day games for the platform, but it has features like ethernet connectivity and USB storage. You can connect a real drive, or use the built-in emulation. Last Ninja II was among the games that saw action.

Michelle brought in a full desktop-style MSX machine along with a TV that is, well, small, but not exactly small for taking around on the town with you. She opened it and bravely adjusted the yoke for a much better-aligned display output.

Tom took along his MSX 2+ machine and we were treated to a variety of games, old and new, on the system.

And Colin finally hit all the right notes with his Amiga vampire, being able to power it up, display it, AND connect it to the network for the first time since he started bringing it.
