Zone is a curiosity to me for a couple of reasons. One, it is the first real action game I've owned on the PC-9801. Plenty of RPGs, some graphic adventures, and I know plenty of ero-games exist, but I hadn't ever seen a real action game. I knew they existed in theory, just a personal first. The style is a bit unexpected for the era, it's a 3D run-n-shoot game. The graphics are fairly simple but they look good, and the game plays pretty smoothly.

And two, this game was published by System Sacom. I know they made software, but in my mind they were strongly linked to the X68000, both making MIDI cards and games that support MIDI cards. This predates that by a couple of years.
