Maze Patrol for the Tomy Pyuta is a 3D maze-style game, although this does not require the 3D game cartridge expansion, it just plugs directly into the main cartridge slot.

Although not completely original, this 3D maze game gives you enemies to shoot, and something to shoot them with, making it feel much more action-oriented, while most feel simply like a puzzle. The mazes are fairly big, and you have to reach numbered walls, in order, if I recall correctly, in addition to ensuring your survival. They also show a kind of ridiculous animation to indicate that you are turning, which I think they could have done without. But overall, I quite enjoyed this one.
