その他のシャープの機種MZ-1500のゲームソフト

Despite reading the description, I didn't really know what I was getting myself into with this purchase. It's a never-opened (until now) Joy Joy Pack #3 for the MZ-1500. It contains two QuickDisks with two main games, Drol and Shooting Wars. It also came with a board game, but the board game is based on Drol, and relies on loading side B of the Drol QuickDisk. The software on side B acts as the dice and also produces in-game messages.

The software box is considerably bigger than most, and the board game is assembled from four pieces that are each nearly the size of the box, and is moderately complex for what it is. It's also made of a thick, sturdy material so has some weight to it.

The games exhibit some interesting behavior. They can be used as stand-alone games, which function as expected, but if the games are loaded as part of an element of the board game (in other words, using the dice-rolling/message displaying program), when the games are loaded they have some different parameters, such as how many ships you must shoot without dying or how long you have to complete your task. It changes bits and pieces of the game display, as well. And hey, the artist did a bang-up job of the Shooting Wars title screen!
