As part of a bulk lot of MZ-1500 items I picked up recently, I got this MZ-1X03 joystick. It is in great condition.

It was complete, and frankly 40-year-old joystick boxes have no business looking this good. No damage to speak of, the manual shows a tiny bit of use but is flat and clean, it still includes the Sharp authorized services directory, and the internal support cardboard is still stiff and strong.

I had one of these before, but not this good looking. To date, I have still only found one game that actually supports it on the MZ-1500- Pac-Man. It also works with the MZ-700, which I think has a few more games in its library that support it. It's also an analog joystick, which seems like a weird choice. It works okay, but it doesn't really make much sense if your flagship is going to be Pac-Man, where movement is as simple as can be, press a direction and move that direction at a fixed speed.
