Snake is as basic as you can get for a computer game, but I felt this version added a little bit of originality to it. Perhaps it's just my relatively limited exposure to the game, but I am more used to just seeing an open field with a food target appearing, and the only thing in the way is your own tail. This takes place on a grid, and there are moving creatures to catch. ![]() ![]() ![]() I got this at the same time as Heiankyo Alien, and although they are from the same company at around the same time, they took quite opposite approaches to design. Heiankyo Alien has wild cover art with really simple game graphics, while Snake has the most boring cover art I've ever seen, but, well, for the time, a fair amount going on in the game. ![]() |
