This game is colorful and uniquely laid-out. And it's pretty fun to play, although it feels a bit brutal in the difficulty department sometimes. The only issue with it is that it doesn't have much in terms of variety in display. There's the title screen, and the play field. The playfield doesn't really change from one level to the next, and unlike, say, Pac-Man, which looks different as you progress within the level, the changes in this game are much more subtle, even though the game isn't terribly different in concept from Pac-Man. You seem to be an amusement part employee, who needs to clean up trash. There isn't much trash in this game, because it's got a 1980s Japan frame of mind. But your task is made more difficult by the roaming vehicles and your angry manager. You don't die, but your manager gets upset with you if you get hit by a vehicle, which is all fairness, seem to be actually targeting poor Gomimushi-kun. The packaging is also really colorful and has a cute depiction of the in-game activities. |
