Funny Mouse is a "collect treasures for points and escape the maze without being caught" type of game, kind of like Boulder Dash but single-screen. It's a pretty engaging game in my opinion. As the title implies, it's mouse-themed, and mice love cheese almost as much as I do, so cheese being one of the treasures is right up my alley.

The treasure is optional, but I come from a strict "leave no cheese behind" frame of mind. What is not optional, however, is the key. The door won't open and you can't exit and proceed to the next level. Get the key, open the door. Get it?

You can also set a mouse trap, I believe only one per level. Place it down on the playfield and one enemy will be stunned by it for a few seconds should they happen to walk over it. It can save you if you're in a pinch, sometimes.

If the included 150 stages just isn't enough for you, it comes with an editor. You can make a new one from scratch or edit an existing level to expedite the process. I chose to edit level 7. In addition to the bricks, creatures, treasure, key, door, and mouse, you can also add a warp door. You choose the position and direction of entry, then the position and direction of exit.
