I had a feeling this was a kind of unusual game just by the title and box. I'd say I was correct. That's not to say it's a super exciting game or anything, but it's fun in a very laid-back sort of way. You can play against the computer or other humans, taking turns at various activities that can earn or cost you money, depending on a variety of factors, but mostly the cues come from which day of the week you randomly select from the game menu. There are a variety of activities, such as buying a lottery ticket, making an investment purchase (land, a yacht, or a classic car have come up for me so far), a treasure hunt, a random expense, etc. It sort of plays like Monopoly if Monopoly were only Community Chest and Chance cards. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When you make an investment purchase, you will sometimes get an offer on it a bit later. So far, they always offer more than your initial purchase price, but I am not sure what happens yet if you reject their offer. ![]() ![]() ![]() The colorful packaging is bold and makes it look more exciting than it actually is, but I think that's most games of the era. Unfortunately, the box for my copy is a little smooshed. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
