I had this game for a looong time and couldn't play it. I got it with a lot of PC-6001mkII games, so I assumed it was for that system, but there are quite a few variables to play with when loading games for that platform, and I was never able to load it. It would find the program, but loading never completed.

Finally it occurred to me to try it on my PC-8801FH (as the MA2 doesn't have a CMT port). Lo and behold, it loaded up immediately!

It's a warrior-themed vertical-scrolling action game. You can get a number of power-ups along the way and use different power-ups to help you through various situations. To the extent I've played, the scenery doesn't change much, but the graphics do look nice.
