I picked up Popy in the same lot as Alien Equation, and this one is also made by Brain Media. In my experience, Brain Media has vibrant and creative and/or detailed box art and they have released some good games. This is one such game. The theme of this box art appears to have been "cuteness overload".

The game is of the action/maze variety. It may at a glance look like a Pac-Man clone, but there is a lot more going on. For one, the goal is about escaping, not simply getting everything. At the level start, it shows you two possible locations for a staircase, and you have to turn over the spaces to see which one uncovers the stairs.

Other differences include the walkway being reversed from expectations. You can only walk along the "wall", not in the open space. That restricts your available paths quite a bit. You also have sort of a shield piece, it can be used to block enemies from hitting you from the front. You can also hold up to three balls at a time and throw them a fairly short distance at your enemies to make them disappear for a bit. And there's a time limit on the level.
