Rescue the princess (I guess?) from the castle. But this is a bit different from most of this type. You have to run away from enemies for a while because you're unarmed. While you're running away, various items appear. Gold, a heart, a treasure chest, and finally, a sword! Use this to kill the enemies. Kill all the enemies and dragons come out. Your sword isn't enough to do in the dragons, so you have to go back to the avoiding game for a bit. Once a key appears, grab it and head into the castle without being clobbered by the dragons!

The PC-6001mkII has a voice chip onboard. It wasn't special, a male voice and a female voice, and as Japanese is a lot easier for a computer to link together than English it wasn't as much a Herculean task, but it was a fun feature. And boy, did Hudson Soft ever abuse that feature! Most of their PC-6001mkII games that I've seen have some amount of speaking. But it's often used to decent effect, like when some condition of the game changes. For example, in this game, your knight comments in a fairly calm voice when the dragons start chasing him.
