This is the fourth major title I've heard of for this system, the first three being Mappy, Pac-Man, and Galaxian. Rally X, however, is for PCG owners only. Well, I take that back, it can be played without a PCG, of course, the system doesn't know if the PCG is there or not. But unlike the other three, which fall back gracefully to block graphics, this looks pretty bad without PCG!

I think even with PCG, this is pushing some limits. You can notice some redrawing artifacts whenever your screen scrolls vertically, though they don't really show up in pictures.

I really dig the style of art used on the sleeve. There are aspects that scream 80s, but other aspects that make it seem not particularly tied to any timeframe.
