The FM-8 doesn't have a lot of great action games. Compared to its more popular successor, the FM-7, it's just a bit slower, but sound generation is substantially inferior. That doesn't mean that the FM-8 doesn't have good games, but the system was more overlooked and doesn't have anywhere near the library of the FM-7. But there was an age where the FM-7 was gaining popularity, but many people already had an FM-8, so they sometimes targeted both systems.

Delphis is such a game, it's a Xevious-type game that didn't have the same level of success, but it does have nice, clean graphics and the controls are not bad at all.
